Wild Cabaret - Glasgow G1 £16,000 a year
Wild Cabaret & Wicked Lounge is a unique cabaret and fine dining venue in the Merchant City of Glasgow. Our cabaret experience offers dining and live cabaret entertainment with a varied contemporary, international menu. The chef de partie will join our kitchen operation and meet, uphold, and improve our standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.
The chef de partie staffs critical stations and oversees the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in a restaurant. The chef de partie also deputises for the venue Head Chef where required. Duties associated with this role including directing chefs in their section in preparing, cooking, and presenting culinary dishes; enforcing strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen; and troubleshooting any problems that may arise. Applicants successful at the first stage of applying will be invited for an unpaid evening trial and then a paid week's trial. Brief telephone interviews may also be required beforehand. Applicants will also be required to provide appropriate references of employment.
Experience in venues of commensurate quality is required, and catering and culinary qualifications and formal training is recommended.
Kitchen staff also receive a share of the front of house tips fortnightly. Salary is dependant on experience and current remuneration; minimum £16000.00 per annum (gross excl. tips).
